Pack and Den Rules

THE SACRED MOON PACK DREAM
Our dream is to multiply
and dance among the stars
as one big happy family
and we hope that once you read
our rules you will want
to join our beautiful Family.
1. Alphas are the head council and leaders of the pack. They are the ones who
lead in all meetings, except when they are unable to be present. Then second
rank (which is the Beta) is to handle the meeting and all pack business til the
Alpha can be there. If the Beta is unavailable, then the Delta leads, and goes
on to Council from that point. Disbans in the pack can only be done with a vote
from a Council member, not by the Alpha.
2. Alphas are the only members of the pack who can ban members from the pack,
except for acting alphas who have the power to ban if said cause in place of the
Alpha.
3. No lying, spreading rumors, putting down guests and visitors, or dumping on
your family to their faces or behind their backs. Stressing an old rule of the
pack, when there are any problems or questions, it must be taken up with said
person and have one or both Betas or at least 2 Deltas to help solve. To prevent
from bringing any trouble to the pack, we must follow this rule. For the safety
of the pack, if problem can not be solved or helped then it will be taken to the
Alphas for further dealing.
4. To have a council position, we ask that whoever applies and holds the
position to be loyal only to Sacred Moon; to hold no OTHER position in any other
packs, to hold all things within the pack, honor its rules, guide its pups and
to help those who need help. When applied and accepted into the position, one
must wait for said spot to be placed on their ID until after their probation
period is over and all is agreed upon by other Council.
5. No foul language, rude remarks, inappropriate gestures. NO RUDE OR PARTIAL
NUDE AV'S ALLOWED IN SACRED MOON when children/pups/pledges are present. If you
must, sit in obs until you know if any are present. Let us know before you enter
the room, so we can change our ways. PLUS all those who leave Sacred Moon and
want to come back will have to be a pup or pledge and no changing the rule on
this. Also if banned, you will serve three weeks as a pup and will be voted back
in and no changes to this rule.
6. Wolves to be mated must first go through a 3 month trial period. Wolves must
also be 18 yrs or older to be mated. However, you are allowed boyfriends and
girlfriends.
7. After such matings, this includes all members no matter of rank who go their
separate ways, it needs to be taken to all elders to decide as to how this will
be handled.
8. All matings from other packs or realms will be honored and recognized. They
will be recognized, but if it is said Council who is mated to another pack
members, then any pups which are given unless their mate becomes member of
Sacred Moon is not said mates' pup. They are that of this pack only.
9. All gestures and tours that represent the pack will not be given out to new
members till after their three weeks is up.
10. If any newcomers want to join our Family, they have to be pup/pledge for 2-3
weeks and meet all the members. If a new member makes considerable progress as a
pup in the first two weeks, they can be voted to full grown wolf status upon a
vote, if not they will be voted in on the third week. If you wish to join, there is a list of Council
members and higher rank on the members page. Please
let one of these members know.
11. Please try to be at all meetings and try to be there on time. If you can not
make a meeting, let one of Council know if possible. If Council can not make it,
please ask someone to stand in for you. Meetings will be held Sundays at 11
p.m. Mountain time (10 p.m. Pacific/12 p.m. Central/1 a.m. Eastern). If you live
in a different country and time zone, please let us know.
12. Everyone will show respect to all members of the pack. There is no exception
to this rule, mainly your Elders; they are your support.
13. Lower Council has to talk to
Council about returning to Council. Thank you.
Thank you and hope you come and enjoy our home and family...
